WhatsApp launches new fact-checking feature 2019
WhatsApp has propelled another element called Tip Line, with which clients can share bits of gossip or unsubstantiated data and keep an eye on their credibility. Clients need to send such data to a number on WhatsApp (+91-9643000888).
This component is being propelled in a joint effort with PROTO, a skilling start-up. The common data will be checked by PROTO's confirmation focus and the reaction will show if the mutual data is valid, false, deceptive, questioned or out of degree. It will likewise survey data in pictures or video interfaces and is accessible in four local dialects — Hindi, Telugu, Bengali and Malayalam — notwithstanding English.
